Gay Pride Boat Parade - Amsterdam

Once a year the Amsterdam canals host the annual Gay Pride boat Parade. Thousands flock together, different religions, nationalities, ages and gender orientation, to celebrate their sexuality. You don't have to be gay to have a rip-roaring day, full of fun, gaiety, music, dance and respectful tolerance.

Music, dance, social binding, fun, acceptance,
peace and harmony are the order of the day.
This year was no exception.
Fox trot and 1920's music boat

Love this pic she looks like the Queen up there!
The Amsterdam flag with 3 crosses standing for
 determination, compassion and bravery!
 Pretty in pink and purple
Wave your hands in the air :)
Tolerance of homosexuality can bring cultures together instead
of their religions and cultures dividing them.
The political Green party boat, a great one!
 Pretty sunflowers and creative boat
The crowds on the side are a riot :)
West Church on the Prinsengracht where the Homo-monument and parade are around the corner from the Anna Frank House.  Despite the craziness all public transport still running :) That's Amsterdam for you.
