Travel tips: Amsterdam by night - The Netherlands

Amsterdam is beautiful to walk around and gaze at the marvelous architecture along its 700 year old canals, hosting old warehouses for trade now modern luxury residences. In addition, there are plenty nooks and crannies of tiny alleyways as you wander the inner centre and cross its scores of bridges moving from city square to city square.  Any city worth visiting deserves good night time sight-seeing as well.  Christmas lights are pretty, but even without them, Amsterdam is just what the Dutch call the nicest feeling in the world. "Gezellig!" Warm, lights, cosy and cute.
