Travel tips: Christmas lights in Amsterdam

Amsterdam without tourists? That was 2020.  Hard to imagine and even further without any hospitality industry being open. 2021 fairly similar, all hospitality closed.  No Christmas markets, ice-skating rink, hot gluwein, crowd buzz or street artists. Yet despite missing all that, a city walk on a dry night to view the Christmas nights is a treat. Slightly surreal without crowds people but beautifully peaceful in the quite and pretty lights.
