Travel tips: Egmond on Sea Netherlands

On a cold sunny day early May, a friend and I took a beautiful walk along the beach in Egmond on Sea. A small town, popular as a tourist destination, one can hire a house for the weekend or week and experience coast living, although summer would definitely be my preference. The village is cute and has a wonderful lighthouse plus the surrounding area en route or back home is full of marvelous tulip fields. The nicest of course, would also be to go horse riding along the shore. 

So definitely worth a day trip!
